Dr. Ungerer’s Letter to Clients

Dear CAC Friends,

It is with mixed emotions I share with you that I will be taking on a new role in 2024, which will have me stepping back from clinical practice. While practicing medicine and getting to know my patients and clients is my first love within veterinary medicine, the opportunity to help support other hospitals and grow our profession into a sustainable career on a larger scale is one that is compelling to me, and true to our original desire in forming CAC.

Founding Clarendon Animal Care with Dr Gloor and working with our teams has been my most proud professional accomplishment — but we would not be able to do the work we do without our exceptionally talented and dedicated team — which is why I know you and your beloved pets will be in the best hands.

I am especially excited as I’ll continue to work with the awesome CAC team on a regular basis, so I’ll never be far away. For my long-time patients with chronic conditions, I will leave detailed notes for our team so they are fully in the loop on our plans, and, again, I’ll be in regular touch so they always know how to reach me! Additionally, I’ll continue to fill in here and there so you may continue to see me around.

Thank you for sharing your pets with me all these years — they and you have taught me so much, and I am forever grateful for the opportunity to care for them and form relationships with you.

One of my favorite attributes of CAC is that we are a truly cohesive team, so I am fully confident our patients and clients are in the most capable hands with each and every one of our veterinarians, veterinary technicians, and incredible support team, and hope you will continue to entrust them with your pet’s care just as you have me.

Take care, and all my best,

Natasha Ungerer, DVM
