General Housekeeping

COVID-19 Protocol

While we continuously update our COVID-19 restrictions and workflow, we respectfully require masks in the office at all times. We are also limiting visits to one client in the exam room at a time. Thank you for your continued understanding!

October Holidays

National Adopt-A-Dog Month

If you didn't know, October is national adopt-a-dog month! CAC is a huge supporter of adoption and works with many different rescues in the area - including AWLA, Lu's Labs, Lucky Dog, and many others. If you are looking to add a new furry friend to your family, we highly recommend checking out local shelters for the perfect addition to your family and to help dogs find their fur-ever home!

Halloween

Trick-or-treat!

It may feel like a treat for your pet but ingesting Halloween candy can be a bit of a tricky situation! Most everyone knows the "scary stories" about dogs ingesting chocolate, but other high-sugar and even sugar-free candies can also be dangerous. Please check out our Trick or Treat blog post to learn more!

Fear Free Tip of the Month

Trick-Or-Treating

While the sound of children laughing and doorbells ringing on Halloween is a happy sound for most humans, it can be quite scary for your pets! Make sure to offer them a nice, quiet, safe space away from the commotion of the front door and to get any anti-anxiety medications filled ahead of time if they are especially anxious or noise reactive to visitors!
